Consultation & Payment Terms

These Consultation & Payment Terms apply to virtual and in-office consultations with Dr. Roberto López Konschot or another physician at Cabo Plastic Surgery.

By scheduling and paying for a consultation, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. Consultation Fee

The consultation fee is $130 USD for both virtual and in-office consultations.

The consultation fee includes a personalized evaluation with Dr. Roberto López Konschot or another Cabo Plastic Surgery physician, depending on the consultation scheduled, and a discussion of your concerns and potential treatment options.

The consultation fee is separate from and is not applied toward the cost of surgery or any other treatment.

Payment of the consultation fee does not guarantee that a particular procedure or treatment will be recommended or that you will be considered an appropriate candidate for surgery or treatment.

2. Appointment Confirmation

Your consultation is considered confirmed once the required consultation fee has been paid and your appointment has been confirmed by Cabo Plastic Surgery.

Appointment availability is subject to scheduling and confirmation by our team.

3. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy

More Than 30 Days Before Your Consultation

If you cancel more than 30 days before your scheduled consultation, you may choose to:

Receive a refund of the consultation fee, less any applicable payment-processing and/or banking fees; or
Reschedule your consultation once, subject to the rescheduling terms below.

More Than 15 Days but 30 Days or Less Before Your Consultation

If you cancel more than 15 days but 30 days or less before your scheduled consultation, the consultation fee is non-refundable.

However, you may reschedule your consultation once, subject to the rescheduling terms below.

15 Days or Less Before Your Consultation

If you cancel 15 days or less before your scheduled consultation, the consultation fee is non-refundable and cannot be applied toward a rescheduled consultation.

A new consultation and payment of a new consultation fee will be required.

4. Rescheduling

When rescheduling is permitted under these terms:

The consultation may be rescheduled one time only.
The rescheduled consultation must take place within six (6) months of the originally scheduled consultation date.
The consultation fee may only be applied to the rescheduled appointment.
Any subsequent cancellation, request to reschedule again, or failure to attend the rescheduled consultation will require a new consultation and payment of a new consultation fee.

5. No-Shows

Failure to attend your scheduled consultation without providing notice within the applicable cancellation period will be considered a no-show.

The consultation fee will be non-refundable and cannot be applied toward another consultation.

A new consultation and payment of a new consultation fee will be required.

6. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your scheduled consultation.

For in-office consultations, patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have a shortened consultation or may need to reschedule, depending on the physician’s availability. If the consultation cannot be accommodated, the appointment will be considered a late cancellation, and a new consultation fee will be required.

For virtual consultations, patients should join at the scheduled appointment time. If the patient has not joined within 15 minutes, the consultation may be considered a no-show, and a new consultation fee may be required.

Cabo Plastic Surgery will make reasonable efforts to accommodate minor delays when the physician’s schedule permits.

7. Travel Delays and Cancellations

Cabo Plastic Surgery is not responsible for flight cancellations, flight delays, missed connections, transportation disruptions, or other travel-related circumstances.

These circumstances do not alter the cancellation, rescheduling, or refund policy described above.

Patients traveling to Los Cabos are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly.

8. Transferability

Consultation appointments and consultation fees are personal to the patient for whom the appointment was booked.

They cannot be transferred, assigned, or applied to another person.

9. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Cabo Plastic Surgery

If Cabo Plastic Surgery must cancel or reschedule your consultation, you may choose to:

Reschedule your consultation at no additional charge; or
Receive a full refund of the consultation fee.

A change initiated by Cabo Plastic Surgery will not count as the patient’s one permitted rescheduling and will not be subject to the six-month rescheduling limitation.

10. Virtual Consultations

Virtual consultations are available for patients who are unable or prefer not to attend an in-office consultation.

Patients are responsible for ensuring that they have a suitable internet connection, compatible device, and appropriate environment for the virtual consultation.

Technical difficulties or connectivity problems on the patient’s side do not automatically entitle the patient to a refund. When reasonably possible, Cabo Plastic Surgery may attempt to complete or reschedule the consultation.

11. Scope of the Consultation

A consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns, goals, medical history, and potential treatment options with your consulting physician at Cabo Plastic Surgery.

A consultation does not guarantee that surgery or any other treatment will be recommended.

Recommendations are based on the consulting physician’s professional medical judgment, the information available at the time of consultation, and, where appropriate, an in-person examination and additional medical evaluation.

Surgical procedures, treatments, medications, laboratory testing, imaging, hospital services, anesthesia, and other services are not included in the consultation fee unless expressly stated otherwise.

12. Treatment and Surgical Fees

Any fees quoted for surgery, procedures, or other treatments are separate from the $130 USD consultation fee.

If treatment is recommended, applicable pricing, inclusions, payment requirements, and other relevant terms will be communicated separately.

Payment of the consultation fee does not reserve a surgical date or treatment date.

13. Privacy

Personal information provided when requesting, scheduling, or attending a consultation will be handled in accordance with the Cabo Plastic Surgery Privacy Policy.

Medical information and photographs may be subject to additional consent and privacy requirements.

14. Acceptance of These Terms

By scheduling and paying for a consultation, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted these Consultation & Payment Terms, including the cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policy.

For consultations booked and paid online, you will be required to confirm your acceptance of these terms before completing payment.
